Are AWS Containers Replacing Traditional Server-Based Deployments?

It feels like more teams are choosing ECS, EKS, or Fargate for new AWS projects. But are containers really replacing running applications directly on EC2?

Containers can make deployment and scaling easier, but they can also add complexity. For some workloads, EC2 might still be the simpler option.
